Usually I recommend planning at least 3 months in advance, and up to 12 months in advance. The amount of time you spend planning depends a lot on the type of experience you want to have and is influenced by many other factors like time of year, destination, budget, group size, duration of the trip, etc.
Can you still reach out if your departure date is sooner than 3 months out? Absolutely!
IT'S FUN! Although it can feel daunting, planning a trip does not have to be a stressful experience. Especially when you work with a travel advisor! I will make this process as fun and easy as possible for you - offering options, guidance, and expertise every step of the way.
I charge an advising fee, which is separate from the cost of your trip and must be paid prior to beginning any trip planning. The fee starts at $350 for domestic trips and $700 for international and varies based on group size as well as complexity and duration of the trip.
My advising fee pays me for my time and expertise. When you work with me, you receive a custom-built itinerary just for you that is not dictated by commissions or pre-packaged experiences. Instead of getting a one-size-fits all trip, I spend days crafting an experience that is perfect for you and considers the planet and destination communities, as well.

Sustainable travel choices are often about choosing the right time of year to travel to the right destinations and choosing locally owned accommodations, tour operators, restaurants, etc. instead of defaulting to short-term rentals or getting lured in by greenwashed hotel chains and carbon off-sets. Fortunately, there are plenty of high end and luxury options that make sustainability a priority, it just takes some extra research and planning - that's why I'm here!
You have a couple options for your itinerary format. I can provide you with a PDF with all the details of your trip or you can access your interactive itinerary, including the option to save an offline version, via our free mobile app.
Certainly! As part of the planning process, we will go through a couple rounds of edits until we settle on a final plan. In some cases, if you wish to make further changes after the final itinerary is complete, there may be an additional change fee incurred, especially if it requires rebooking accommodations or travel.
